Dr. Arthur L. Walker, Jr.
President/CEO
Arthur L. Walker is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, whose career spanned more than 25 years. During his military career, he served primarily in education and training capacities. His work experience include: superintendent of a base educational services program, director and instructor for human relations and equal opportunity programs; leadership instructor and mentor for Air Force ROTC cadets at a major university; and section commander and instructor at a leadership and management school where he coached USAF and international company-grade officers in leadership, communication, and teambuilding skills. He also served as an air weapons director and trainer in a quick-response, highly mobile combat unit. Following his Air Force career, he became an instructor of psychology and critical thinking skills at Motlow State Community College and quickly rose to positions of greater responsibility: director of a satellite campus, vice president, and ultimately president of the college. Walker has a doctorate in adult and higher education administration from the University of Memphis; a M.S. degree in agency counseling from Troy University; and a B.S. degree in psychology from Athens State University. He is a certified facilitator for Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and William Glasser’s Choice Theory and Reality Therapy.
Rosa E. Walker

Rosa Walker has 35 years experience as a classroom teacher in a variety of systems and settings. Her teaching assignments encompass six public school systems in four states, a private Christian academy, and grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade. Her skill sets include classroom management strategies, coaching and mentoring, counseling, grant writing, curriculum development, summer enrichment program development, psychometrics, and tutoring. She holds a M.S. degree in elementary education from Alabama A&M University (AA&MU), a M.S. degree in counseling and guidance from Troy University, and a B.S. degree in elementary education from AA&MU. Her professional certificates and training include: Comprehensive Integrated Reading and Composition, Cooperative Learning, Education Technology, High School Enrichment in Science, Huntsville Alliance Science Program, Learning Styles, Multi-Cultural education, Professional Education Training, Reality Therapy, and Service Learning. She has conducted system-wide in-service training as well as specialized training for individual schools, both public and private. Additionally, she has served as consultant and coach at a start-up private academy to help new teachers further develop their skills and to assist administrators prepare for accreditation.
